I’ve been having a love-hate relationship with my skin lately. I wake up one morning and it’s near perfect. The type of perfect where I can slap on some of anything and leave. Then I get those not so perfect mornings where concealer becomes my best-friend. No matter what type of morning I’m having though, there is one product that seems to work the best and that is Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer.

I discovered this about two years ago when of the girls at Sephora convinced me to purchase this instead of the Smashbox tinted moisturizer. It’s been a constant repurchase ever since. I’m not sure why I’ve never mentioned it before because I think it’s something to rave about.
Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer has enough coverage to even out any redness. I feel like it’s more of a really light, sheer foundation. It’s the perfect amount of coverage I want especially when summer is around the corner. However, I have to use a concealer when I have a blemish. I’ve found that the best way to apply this is with my fingers. One quick note though! Don’t over-blend if you want more coverage.
Some of you may find it a bit pricey but just 1 lasts me about 6-8 months, depending on how often I use it. I think that’s pretty reasonable.
Have you tried Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer yet?
Porcelaine Pink is a limited edition MSF I picked up at the CCO but it has re-launched a couple of times before. I needed a new highlighter so I decided to give this a shot and it’s actually the first mineralize skinfinish I have ever tried. All the glitter and sparkle on these kind of make me nervous to be honest but we all have to conquer our fears one day, right?

I wore this throughout the week and I really like it. The color is a lovely sheer coral pink with a golden sheen. Depending on your skin tone, I think it can work as both a blush or a highlighter. It definitely does a great job at giving a dewy look rather than looking like you have sparkles and glitter all over your cheeks. This looks even better when I layer a bit over my Well Dressed blush from MAC.
Many of you probably know this site exists but for those of you that don’t, well, I guess you will after reading this.
I don’t usually purchase a product before I do my research and read reviews on it. I’d like to know what other people think about it and how that product has worked for them. The first place I get all this information is Makeupalley.com.
Makeupalley has tons and TONS of reviews on almost every product you can think of. If you’re tired of searching for the product on google and going through different websites for reviews, this is the site to bookmark.
